Making Disciples and Making a Difference
Welcome
We are an unaffiliated, Bible-believing, Bible-preaching, Baptist Church striving to "Make Disciples and Make a Difference."
At Michigan Avenue Baptist Church you can enjoy worship services, prayer meetings, Bible studies, and mission trips; as well as classes, activities, and ministries for every age group. We would be delighted to have you visit with us.

Wednesday Night Bible Study
We study the Bible verse-by-verse on Wednesday nights.
Titus is a short book, just three chapters in length, and can be read in around 10 minutes. However, the book contains important instructions for the church and for Christians. Titus was ministering in a difficult place, to difficult people, and in a difficult culture. This makes the book very applicable to us today! The great theme of the book is that sound doctrine produces good works. In this study, we will learn the inseparable link between belief and behavior.
The Heartbeat of MABC
Michigan Avenue Baptist Church has three main areas where we place an emphasis: Truth, Fellowship, and World Evangelism.
To spread the truth of God's Word, we hold three weekly worship services, and offer Sunday School classes for all ages, kids and youth classes on Wednesday nights, a weekly women's Bible study, and a bi-weekly men's Bible study.
To foster fellowship, we hold gatherings; such as our annual chili cookoff in March, July 4th gathering, Homecoming, Fall Fellowship, Ladies Sock Exchange, Ugly Christmas Sweater Party, and a monthly men's breakfast.
To propagate the gospel to the world and fulfill the Great Commission, we support missionaries and mission organizations, and send members of the church into the community, local prisons, and around the world.
